Nassau County's 911 system back up and running after brief outage

NASSAU COUNTY (WABC) -- Nassau County's 911 system is back up and running after experiencing a brief outage Monday afternoon.

Police Commissioner Patrick J. Ryder says residents no longer need to contact Nassau County Police Precincts or Fire Departments directly for emergency assistance.
