The shooting happened on Nov. 15 when police say two teens opened fire on a crowd on Chancellor Avenue.
Jordan Vereen, 10, was killed along with Kiyah Mae Scott, a 21-year-old mother. Masi Rogers, 19, died from his injuries days later on Nov. 20.
Jordan's 11-year-old brother and a 60-year-old man were also hurt and have since been released from the hospital.
In all, four males from Newark -- ages 16, 19, 26 and 31 -- are now in custody in the shooting that stunned the city.
The 16-year-old was not named, but police identified the other suspects Thursday as Almuta Thomas, Furquan Boykin Jr., and Quayon Williams-King.
Police say the suspects drove to the area in a stolen car and Boykin and the 16-year-old got out and ran around the corner and started firing.
Just two days after the mass shooting, police spotted a car that was stolen and the drivers fled. Officers stopped the vehicle and took Williams-King into custody.
Police say two guns were recovered in the car, but neither matched the shooting.
All four suspects are charged with three counts of first degree murder, two counts of aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit murder.
Thomas and Williams-King are also charged with aggravated arson of another stolen car and motor vehicle theft. All of the suspects were known to authorities.
There is no clear motive for the shooting. It may stem from a prior incident, like a robbery and police say one of the victims may have been a target.
