NEWARK, New Jersey (WABC) -- A flight out of Newark had to return to the airport because a passenger named a Bluetooth device 'Bomb.'

In a video, one of the crewmembers was overheard making an announcement saying,

"We have one passenger that seems to be making a funny joke that isn't so funny and it's going to be compromising the safety of this flight."

Other passengers say the crew repeatedly asked everyone to turn off their devices.

The flight was headed to Spain. It turned around about an hour into the trip.

The pilot said the passenger would be arrested.
