NEW YORK (WABC) -- The NYC Economic Development Corporation unveiled a new ferry map as part of a redesign of the system at a news conference at the East 34th Street NYC Ferry Landing Monday morning.

The redesign will include, one route going from West 34th Street, to Staten Island, and Brooklyn and ultimately Wall Street.

Another will go from the Rockaways, up Manhattan's East Side, to Throggs Neck in the Bronx

The southern Brooklyn route adds a stop at East 34th Street.

The city's EDC will also open two new ferry landings, one in East Harlem at 125th Street and another in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, near Pier 6.
