NEW YORK (WABC) -- Mayoral candidates Zohran Mamdani, Andrew Cuomo, and Mayor Eric Adams made their rounds in front of houses of worship on Sunday.

As candidates hope to gain the support of potential voters there are questions of who will be on the ballot come November.

Mayor Adams says he will be staying in the race after reports of possible job offers from the White House if he drops out.

Adams a frequent guest at churches, appeared at several including "Hope city" where he said he's been grossly mischaracterized.

The other independent candidate, Andrew Cuomo, stopped at churches including "Calvary Baptist " In Jamaica Queens touting a message of affordability in the city.

Democratic frontrunner Zohran Mamdani highlighted his background as an immigrant while speaking at a church in Brooklyn that has a large Haitian membership.

"In times like this where freedom feels impossible we turn to faith. James 1-2 tells us count it all in joy my brothers," said Mamdani.

Sliwa spoke to voters in the subway, the place that made him famous.

There he reiterated he is not quitting the race and tried to end all talk about it.

"Stop the nonsense about dropping out. Every day the conversation is about is dropping out is a great day for Zohran Mamdani. Because he doesn't have to talk about issues," said Sliwa.

Governor Hochul was asked whether she'll endorse Mamdani, her party's nominee, but she refused to make any commitments.
