MTA bus crashes into building in the Bronx; no injuries reported

RIVERDALE, The Bronx (WABC) -- An empty bus rolled down a hill and crashed into a wall outside an apartment building in the Riverdale section of the Bronx on Monday.

The 37-year-old driver said they had just parked the bus when it started rolling backward on Broadway at around 10:45 p.m.

The bus rolled into a retaining wall surrounding an apartment building. It did not strike the building and no structural damage was reported.

Police say no one was injured and no one was on the bus at the time.
