15-year-old stabbed twice in back during Hell's Kitchen robbery

HELL'S KITCHEN, Manhattan (WABC) -- A 15-year-old was stabbed twice in the back in a robbery of his cellphone and backpack in Hell's Kitchen on Monday afternoon.

The teen was robbed of his phone and backpack on West 51st Street at around 5:20 p.m.

During the robbery, he was stabbed twice in the back, police say.

He was rushed to New York Presbyterian Hospital where he was said to be stable.

Four men waring face masks ran away westbound toward Eighth Avenue.
