NYPD searching for suspect after victim stabbed in back at Brooklyn subway station

BROWNSVILLE, Brooklyn (WABC) -- The NYPD is putting out a call for help in search for the suspect behind a subway stabbing in Brooklyn.

Police released an image of the man they are looking for.



They say he stabbed the 44-year-old victim in the back while he was walking down a staircase inside the Sutter Avenue station.

First responders rushed the victim to the hospital where he is stable.



Anyone with information that could lead to an arrest is urged to call Crime Stoppers.
