Hosted by New York Road Runners, the annual race sent participants on a 6.2-mile course through the park, passing iconic landmarks including the Unisphere and the Queens Museum.
Now in its 13th year, the Citizens Queens 10K has become one of the borough's signature running events, drawing athletes from across New York City and beyond.
Nearly 1,000 children also participated in the accompanying Flushing Meadows Kids Run, which featured free races and dashes for young runners.
A free post-race festival featuring live music, food trucks and family-friendly activities is continuing in Flushing Meadows Corona Park through noon. The event is open to the public.
Citizens returned as the title partner of the race for the third consecutive year as part of its foundation-level partnership with New York Road Runners.
