FORT LEE (WABC) -- The Palisades Interstate Parkway repaving project entered its new phase Monday morning.

Milling, waterproofing and repaving work began on the southbound helix and toll plaza in Fort Lee, New Jersey at 9 a.m. on Monday.

Drivers should definitely expect delays since several toll lanes will be closed and most of the repaving will take place on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

It's all part of a $350 million project to upgrade the parkway.
