A poster for "Pokémon: The First Movie," which was released in 1999, was discovered at the East Broadway F train subway station, hidden beneath decades of posters that had been pasted over it and a MetroCard machine which was recently removed.
Like a rare sighting of the legendary Pokémon Mewtwo, who is featured in the film, the poster is quite the gem!
It's 26 years old - and it looks its age, with much of the remnants tattered and torn - but perhaps that's the charm.
The poster has now become viral and a must visit for legions of Pokémon fans, and yes, there are still many even after all these years.
But if you want to "catch 'em all," you'll have to act fast before it's replaced with a new advertisement.
