It happened just before 9:30 p.m. Sunday at the Bronx Park East station near White Plains Road.
The 33-year-old victim got off the train at the stop.
The female suspect, described as wearing a yellow shirt and red and yellow sneakers, fled the scene.
Police say the victim did not know his attacker and it was unclear what led up to the slashing.
