Brooklyn resident Terrence Smith, 38, was stabbed in the abdomen at around 11:05 p.m. by an unidentified attacker.
Smith was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police say a woman fled the scene. She is described as having a dark complexion, wearing a black track suit and multi-colored bonnet.
No arrests have been made.
