Investigators say three men knocked on the door of a third-floor apartment on Mott Avenue on Friday, claiming to be federal agents.
When the victim answered, police say the men pushed their way inside and ransacked the unit.
The men took $7,500 from a safe and two credit cards.
The suspects drove away in a Camry with an out-of-state license plate, which was driven by a fourth man.
