Prosecutors: Man fatally shot on north NJ street

ELIZABETH, N.J. -- A man shot multiple times on a northern New Jersey street has died from his wounds.

Union County prosecutors say Antwine Paige was found shortly before 5 a.m. Saturday in the area of Clarkson Avenue and Richmond Street in Elizabeth. The 37-year-old city resident was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

A motive for the shooting remained under investigation, and no arrests had been made.
