A groundbreaking ceremony will be held for the casino near the former Aqueduct racetrack in Ozone Park, Queens.
The expansion includes a new 400-room hotel tower and a concert arena.
In April, the casino expanded to offer live table games. They now offer more than 240 table games, including blackjack, craps, and roulette, and more than 2,500 slot machines.
Resorts World was one of the first three casinos to get a full commercial license in New York City.
Resorts World New York City is the first commercial casino to open in the 400-year history of New York City.
The Hard Rock Metropolitan Park at Citi Field, and Bally's in the Bronx, are set to open on the property of President Donald Trump's former golf course at Ferry Point.
The other two casinos will be entirely new complexes, which will take years to build and open.
