Search for missing swimmer in water off Long Beach

LONG BEACH, New York (WABC) -- There's a search underway for a missing swimmer in the waters off Long Beach.

A family member notified police that their loved one entered the ocean Wednesday night and never came back to shore.

The report launched a search off the coast near Riverside Boulevard.

No one was immediately found.
