Disney is often thought of as the maker of amazing movies, but WABC-TV's parent company is also behind some very big Broadway shows.
And two big fans of theater are also part of the Disney family - Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie O'Donnel, of "The View."
Rosie dreamed of being in a Broadway musical long before she wanted to do comedy.
"There's nothing better in show business," she said. "It's absolutely magical."
And the special this Sunday -- "Backstage with Disney on Broadway: Celebrating 20 Years" -- takes a look at that magic. It includes Disney productions like "The Lion King and "Newsies." And it all began with "Beauty and the Beast."
Adam Jacobs, who plays the title role, and his "Aladdin" co-star James Monroe Iglehart appeared and performed on "The View" Tuesday.
And it turns out Whoopi is one of Genie James' biggest fans.
Both also appear in Sunday's special, and James says he really is having a great time as the Genie.
It makes you feel alive in the way only a live performance can, and it's an experience that
leaves you singing and wishing you were up on stage, too.
"Backstage with Disney on Broadway: Celebrating 20 Years" airs Sunday at 7 p.m. on Channel 7.
You'll see scenes from eight Broadway musicals, and the show is hosted by "Modern Family" star Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
