Dispute ends with shooting at Bronx subway station

THE BRONX (WABC) -- A dispute on a subway train ended in gunfire in a Bronx station on Saturday morning, police said.

The shooting happened inside the 4 train station in the mezzanine at Jerome Avenue and East 170th Street.

The 27-year-old victim was taken to Lincoln hospital in stable condition.

Investigators have not said what sparked the dispute.
