Suspects sought in violent mugging on street in Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG (WABC) -- Police in Brooklyn are searching for three men involved in a violent mugging caught on camera.

Investigators released surveillance images of the attack on a 52-year old man in Williamsburg.

The victim was outside a store on Roebling Street about 3:30 a.m. on Oct. 1st, when the men assaulted him.

One of the suspects hit the victim in the face with a gun before taking his property and running away.

The victim was not seriously hurt.



The suspects are described as:

Suspect #1- Hispanic male, approximately 20 to 30 years old, 5'8, 170 pounds wearing a dark colored jacket with stripes on the sleeves and dark colored jeans.

(2) Hispanic male, approximately 20 to 30 years old, 5'8, 200 pounds wearing a red jacket with dark colored jeans.

(3) Hispanic male, approximately 20 to 30 years old, 5'10, 170 pounds wearing a dark colored jacket with leather sleeves, dark colored jeans and a black baseball cap.
