YORKTOWN, Westchester County (WABC) -- A teacher in Westchester County is accused of slapping and force feeding a student with disabilities.

Yorktown police said officers responded to a 911 call at the Shrub Oak International School on Nov. 18 last year.

They said they were told that 24-year-old Oscar Virgil hit a student with disabilities, made them eat against their will and committed other acts that endangered the child.

When police concluded their investigation last week, Virgil turned himself in.

The Shrub Oak International School is one of the country's most expensive private schools for children with autism.
