TOMS RIVER, N.J. (WABC) -- Police are looking for a woman they said eluded them after employees at a store complained that she allowed her dog to damage several items.

On Nov. 17, the Toms River Police Department responded to a report of a disorderly person at the Lane Bryant clothing store on Hooper Avenue.

According to police, store employees said a customer came into the store with a small dog and allowed it to urinate on 14 dresses and 11 pair of pants, causing $2,000 in damage.

When asked to leave the store, the woman became belligerent and refused, police said. She was getting into her car when police arrived; when they tried to stop her, she fled.
Police said she ran several red lights as police chased her using emergency lights and sirens.

She was identified through her license plate and physical description as Theresa M. Tumbleson, 35, of Jackson N.J., police said. She faces charges of eluding a police officer and obstruction of the administration of law.

She remains at large. Anyone with information about her or the case is asked to call (732) 349-0150 Ext. 1348.
