Woman fatally struck in hit-and-run crash in Morris Heights

MORRIS HEIGHTS, Bronx (WABC) -- A 44-year-old woman was fatally struck in a hit-and-run crash in the Bronx.

The woman was hit on West 174th Street, near Macombs Road in Morris Heights, just before 11:45 p.m. Wednesday.

She was pronounced dead at St. Barnabas Hospital.

Police were searching in an alleyway between two buildings where she was apparently struck.

The vehicle involved did not remain at the scene.



So far, no arrests have been made.
