Police have now identified the deceased woman as 29-year-old Angie Miguel, a resident of New Haven, Connecticut.
A white 2016 Infiniti sedan was traveling eastbound on Bruckner Boulevard, the service road, near the Hunts Point Market, just before 4:40 a.m. at a high rate of speed, investigators determined.
The sedan struck two trucks that were both slowing for a red light before the sedan spun out-of-control and crashed.
The sedan "failed to navigate the turn in the roadway, causing it to rotate to the right," the NYPD Highway District's Collision Investigation Squad determined.

Three people were extricated from the crushed car. Driver Angie Miguel was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
EMS responded and transported all vehicle occupants to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln while the truck operators initially remained on scene.
The 26-year-old operator of the box truck, the 26-year-old female rear passenger of the sedan, the 29-year-old male front passenger of the sedan, and the 29-year-old operator of the second truck are all listed in stable condition.
Eastbound Bruckner Boulevard was closed part of the day Friday as investigators worked. The 13-wheel tractor-trailer leaked some fuel, requiring cleanup.
There are no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing.
