Woman rescued after falling down trash chute in Hackensack

HACKENSACK, New Jersey (WABC) -- It was a messy rescue after a woman fell roughly ten stories inside a building's trash chute in New Jersey.

It happened at high rise in Hackensack. Police say the woman entered the trash room on the building's 14th floor.

Firefighters found the woman near the fourth floor, stuck among backed-up trash.

There are no specifics on her injuries or how she ended up in the chute.
