NEW YORK (WABC) -- Police are searching for two men in Brooklyn accused of stealing pricey sneakers from men they contact on social media.

The pair is linked to as many as six robberies dating back to April.

In each case, they make an agreement on Facebook to meet the victim in order to purchase a product being sold.

Then police say the suspects pull out a gun and rob them of sneakers, electronics and cash.

Anyone with information in regards to these incidents is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
