Exclusive: Christmas trees meet their maker in the Bronx

THE BRONX (WABC) -- Christmas may be squarely in the rear view mirror for most New Yorkers, but for the Department of Sanitation, the holidays live on.

Thousands upon thousands of discarded Christmas trees collected from across the five boroughs all meet their maker at a facility in the Bronx.
