NewsCopter 7 was over the scene of the crash located at Bordentown Avenue just east of Browns Road near a water treatment plant.
A source told Eyewitness News that around 4:30 p.m., a Nissan crossed a double yellow line and hit a box truck head on.
Two people from the Nissan were killed and another suffered serious injuries. Based on preliminary info, it's believed that no one in the box truck was injured.
Bordentown Avenue was closed in both directions due to the crash.
An investigation is underway.
