STATEN ISLAND, New York (WABC) -- A Staten Island man dismayed to find a recently-bloomed tree destroyed in front of his home was shocked to find out the damage was caused by a leaping deer.

Anthony Cecala checked his home surveillance system after the incident, to see the wild animal hurdling his high fence before crashing down on the plant.

The deer suddenly hopped to its feet and ran off, seemingly uninjured and unfazed by what happened.

Cecala took to social media, posting the video along with the humorous observation, "This mother (expletive) took out my tree."
