2 men beaten with baseball bat at Port Richmond deli: Police

PORT RICHMOND, Staten Island (WABC) -- Two men were beaten with a baseball bat in a brawl inside a Staten Island deli.

The victims, a 36-year-old man and a 30-year-old man, were both injured in the dispute.

It happened at Keshi's Deli on Port Richmond Avenue in the Port Richmond section at around 11:10 p.m. Sunday.

They were both taken to Richmond University Medical Center where they are said to be stable.

One deli worker was being questioned and police released a photo of the second suspect they are seeking.



A bat was recovered at the scene.

Last summer, a 34-year-old man was robbed of his SUV after being shot in the leg outside the same deli.
