Suspects wanted in string of Upper Manhattan, Bronx robberies

Friday, November 30, 2018
NEW YORK (WABC) -- Police are searching for at least three people behind a string of armed robberies in upper Manhattan and the Bronx.

Investigators say the thieves enter businesses -- usually delis -- during the overnight hours, point guns at the employees and then take money from the cash register.

In one case, they tied up four victims with zip-ties.

The robberies began back on October 14, and the most recent incident happened just this past Monday. In that case, the thieves made off with $1,100.

They've fled the scenes in a Chrysler 300, a gray sedan, and a dark-colored Acura with a yellow stripe on the windshield.

At least four incidents have been linked to the suspects. Thankfully, no one has been injured thus far.
