17-year-old boy dies after being shot in neck near Bronx school: police

THE BRONX, New York (WABC) -- A 17-year-old boy has died after being shot near a school in the Bronx on Thursday, police say.

The teen was struck in the neck around 4:14 p.m. after a fight broke out amongst a group of kids at 762 Cauldwell Ave.

The teen was taken to Lincoln Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A teen suspect is being sought by police.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
