This season is different, for one particular dimension worthy of embrace.

"The interracial dating adds a different dimension," viewer Lauren Pattani-Wright said.

Lindsay is first African-American "Bachelorette," and she's the focus of of attention from a couple dozen men.

"I mean, you go with who you love and who you care about," Lisa Morgan-Richman said.

We watched as they watched the tension between the guys when one interrupted another.

"You need the drama in these shows, and he brings the drama," Dionne Hensen-Sexton said.

The members of this group agreed there's more pressure on Rachel than there was on previous contestants.

"I think part of her thought process is, 'I'm being judged,'" Greer Hansen said.

The challenges, these ladies said, are magnified on TV.

"But isn't that what being black in America is?" Lauren Pattani-Wright said. "You always have to be hyper conscientious of how you're perceived...of the words you use and the tone in which you use them. And it's exhausting."

Rachel seems determined to keep an open mind, which was met with approval in our group.

"O can appreciate the enormity of what she feels is on her shoulder right now," Hansen-Sexton said. "But I think she's trying to make her choices fairly and based on who actually interests her."

There is no word yet on who Rachel chooses, but we do know she chose someone. The Bachelorette revealed prior to the season that she's engaged.

We thank Chaz Ross for hosting our viewing party at her apartment.

"The Bachelorette" airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. on ABC.
