Authorities said that approximately 80 cars had their tires slashed on between 12 a.m. and 3 a.m.

The cars were located in the northwest section of Manville Borough between North 3rd Avenue and North 13th Avenue.
About 40 cars had their tires slashed back in June, and one car was set on fire.
Then, earlier this month, tires were slashed on Green Street between 10th and 13th avenues, which was about a quarter of a mile away from the June incident, along with several in neighboring Hillsborough.
"Three cars. My sister's car, my mom's car, my car," said Manville resident Joel Eyssen. "My car was parked in the driveway. I had to leave work early to come get my car fixed."

Authorities are investigating whether these tire slashing incidents are connected. They are looking for surveillance video.
The suspect has been described as a Caucasian male from 18 to 22 years old wearing a dark-colored hooded jacket.
Police believe he is a local who gets around on foot. Several possible suspects have been eliminated.
"We are aggressively investigating it. We have strong suspects and hopefully it will come to an end soon," said Manville Police Lt. John Crater.
Frustration is being felt by all the victims who are missing work and spending money to cover the cost of someone's criminal activity.
"This is money we shouldn't be using to fix somebody's stupidity," said Eyssen.
Anyone with information or surveillance video is asked to contact the Manville Police Department online or through the Somerset County Crome Stoppers' Tip Line at 1-888-577-8477.
