LOWER EAST SIDE, Manhattan (WABC) -- Thursday night marks an end of an era for New York City nightlife as Webster Hall shuts down for a major renovation.

The East Village landmark will host its last concert before it changes management.

Webster Hall became iconic with its weekly club nights - open to partiers as young as 19.

Those club nights will likely not be a part of the venue's future when it reopens in a year and a half with a new focus on the concert realm.
