Ex-Westchester fire chief now working at school facing child porn charges

MOUNT KISCO, Westchester County (WABC) -- A former Westchester County fire chief and current school employee is charged with child porn possession.

Raymond Zaccari, 58, of Mount Kisco, was arrested on April 7 , 2017, after investigators executed a search warrant based on a CyberTipline report filed by Google.

Google stated that a person using an IP address associated with Zaccari's home, where he lives with his wife and adult daughter, had uploaded an image of child pornography to an associated Google Plus Photos account.

Zaccari is the former chief of the Mount Kisco Fire Department and was currently employed by the Rippowam Cisqua School in the Town of Bedford as a groundskeeper. He also worked as a school bus driver for the district's after-school activities and special events.

After his arraignment, the school was contacted and informed of the arrest.

Zaccari is charged with one count of promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child and one count of possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child.

Bail was set at $25,000 cash over $50,000 bond. As a condition of his bail, he is not permitted to be around children under the age of 17.



He is due back in court on April 20.
