Officials say two tractor trailers collided heading westbound near Tillary Avenue at 4:50 a.m. Wednesday.

Both eastbound and westbound lanes were briefly shut down before one lane each way reopened. All lanes reopened by noon.

One of the vehicles involved in the crash overturned and struck an overhead roadway sign, dumping mounds of trash across the roadway.

Vehicles heading eastbound were hit with debris.

Four people were hurt, but all were said to be in stable condition.

Crews spent hours cleaning up the debris.
