Broadway Week is back with 2-for-1 ticket deals and the Lincoln Center TKTS booth to reopen

Tuesday, September 6, 2022
NEW YORK CITY (WABC) -- Broadway week is back, and that means you can get two-for-one tickets for a bunch of hit shows.

Mayor Eric Adams helped kick things off before Sunday night's performance of Broadway's longest-running show, "The Phantom of the Opera."

He celebrated Broadway's resilience, especially in the wake of the COVID-19 lockdowns that left theaters in the dark for 18 months.

Broadway week's ticket deals are available through September 25, and tickets for Broadway shows and other performances will be more accessible with the Tuesday reopening of the Lincoln Center TKTS booth.

It marks the first time the booth, located inside Lincoln's Center's David Rubenstein Atrium, is open since 2020.

The TDF (formerly known as Theatre Development Fund) TKTS Lincoln Center offers discount tickets up to 50% off to same-day matinee and evening performances as well as next-day matinee performances to Broadway, Off-Broadway, and Lincoln Center productions.

"All of us at TDF are excited to reopen TKTS Lincoln Center so we can once again serve local residents and visitors eager to get the best prices and locations to Broadway, Off-Broadway and Lincoln Center performances," Managing Director Michael Naumann said. "The demand for tickets has been growing at our Times Square location as folks return to the theatre, so we felt this was the right time to reopen our satellite booth."

The hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

TDF's main TKTS Times Square discount booth, located at Broadway and 47th Street, is currently open seven days a week.
