3 injured in fire believed to be electrical at construction site in Brooklyn

FLATBUSH, Brooklyn (WABC) -- At least three people were injured in a suspected electrical fire in Flatbush on Friday afternoon.

The fire was reported just before 11:30 a.m. at a construction site on Clarkson Avenue.

Inspectors with the Department of Building said while testing the main power in the electrical room on the eighth floor of the building, the three workers suffered injuries.

A 21-year-old woman was treated for smoke inhalation, a 25-year-old man suffered burns on his arms and a 28-year-old man suffered burns on his body.

All of the victims are expected to survive.

Few other details were released.
