Eyewitness News tradition continues: Sharing your Christmas morning messages

Monday, December 25, 2023
NEW YORK (WABC) -- A special tradition at Eyewitness News continues as we share your holiday messages on Christmas morning.

We asked to hear your hopes for the new year, what you are thankful for, what you will miss and even what you won't miss.

Bill Ritter, Lauren Glassberg and Lee Goldberg were there Christmas morning to share the news, weather and your holiday messages.

We heard from viewers sharing messages of love, spreading gratitude and even asking for forgiveness.

There were messages looking to the past and we heard from viewers looking ahead to the future.

Some familiar faces wrote in as well as viewers young and old.

The special tradition started in the months after 9/11 and has continued ever since.

We look forward to continuing the tradition on Christmas Day in 2024.
