Man stabbed during argument on 4 train platform in Downtown Brooklyn subway station: Police

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN (WABC) -- A man was stabbed in the arm in a Downtown Brooklyn subway station late Wednesday night.

The stabbing on the Borough Hall platform started when the 37-year-old victim dropped something on the tracks while walking between train cars/

He told the conductor, who stopped the train and ordered everyone onto the platform so he could check the tracks.



While all the passengers waiting on the platform, a man apparently angry about the delay, started a fight with the victim, leading to the stabbing

The victim as taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.

Officials say the suspect fled the scene after the stabbing.

No arrests have been made.
