The steadiest precipitation moved out by the early afternoon but was followed by another batch of snow that lead to additional accumulation in some parts.
The winter storm also led to power outages across the Tri-State, including roughly 60 outages in New Jersey, 35 on Long Island and over 20 in New York City.

Once the snowfall ended, 40-50 mph winds and falling temperatures became the next hazard, especially for anyone traveling through slick conditions in the evening.
With daylight savings ahead, many residents in the Tri-State are just hoping for consistent warmer weather to match the increase in daylight.
