According to NJ Transit, a fire was reported around 4:30 p.m. at one of their bus storage facilities on Tonnelle Avenue.
News Coper 7 was live over the scene which showed at least six buses engulfed in flames.

Seven buses in total were decommissioned and will no longer be in service, NJ Transit said.
North Bergen Police said the fire and rescue department reported to the scene and worked to put out the fire.
Fortunately, the buses were unoccupied at the time of the fire and no injuries have been reported.
The fire led to heavy traffic and delays in the afternoon.
New Jersey Transit Police are leading the investigation into the cause of the fire with assistance from local agencies.
