Signal issues cause significant delays on NJ Transit, Amtrak at NY Penn Station during PM rush

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Signal issues caused significant delays into and out of New York Penn Station during the evening rush Tuesday.

At one point, New Jersey Transit rail service and Amtrak were subject up to 60-minute delays due to Amtrak signal issues near the Portal Bridge.

Video showed crowds of people standing around inside the station.

NJ Transit rail tickets and passes were cross honored by PATH at Newark Penn Station, Hoboken and 33rd Street - New York.

No further details have been given so far.
