Service resumes after disabled NJ Transit train causes delays at Penn Station

NEW YORK CITY (WABC) -- Passengers stuck aboard a disabled NJ Transit train for hours were finally rescued Wednesday night.

Dozens of passengers were stuck on the NJ Transit train #3733 to Rahway in the Hudson River tunnel for nearly two hours with no power and no AC.

A diesel locomotive pushed the train to the Secaucus station.

The disabled train caused delays in and out of Penn Station in New York.

Service has since resumed with residual delays.
