New York City mayoral candidates address the issue of crime and public safety

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Crime and public safety are among the key issues in the race for New York City mayor.

Zohran Mamdani, Andrew Cuomo and Curtis Sliwa all sat down with Eyewitness News anchor Bill Ritter, who asked them about their plans to protect New Yorkers.

Here's where Cuomo, Sliwa and Mamdani stand on hiring more police officers:





All three say "yes" to keeping Jessica Tisch as NYPD commissioner:
