Honorees announced for 2026 National Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York City

NEW YORK (WABC) -- On Tuesday, organizers of the 2026 National Puerto Rican Day Parade announced this year's honorees.

They include singer Daddy Yankee, who will serve as Grand Marshal, and actor Anthony Ramos, who was part of the original Broadway cast of "Hamilton."

Congresswoman Nydia Velázquez and jazz musician Charlie Sepulveda will also be recognized with lifetime achievement awards.

The National Puerto Rican Day Parade is one of the nation's largest cultural celebrations and takes place Sunday, June 14.

Nearly one million spectators will line Fifth Avenue for the festivities and millions more will watch on Channel 7.
