All of the other dogs are accounted for after authorities say they found all four dogs that escaped during the devastating blaze.
Police initially put out a call to help find Scrappy and Fred, but said Thursday afternoon that they had been located.
The fire broke out around 3:40 p.m. at One Step Closer Animal Rescue (OSCAR) on Sparta Stanhope Road in Andover.
At the time of the fire, the rescue says it was caring for about 40 dogs. In an effort to save the animals, the shelter says the dogs were released from their kennels before the fire started spreading.
In addition to the four dogs that were missing, officials said that six were found dead and they are heartbroken over the loss.
"We are grieving them deeply," the shelter said on social media. "They were not just animals in our care. They were part of our family."
The shelter says they do not have space for physical donations right now and are asking the public to help by contributing to their GoFundMe to help cover emergency vet care, medical treatment and foster expenses.
The GoFundMe page has raised over $300,000 so far.
Anyone interested in fostering or adopting can apply online at http://www.oscaranimalrescue.org/.
Officials say the fire originated in the kennel area where the animals were kept. It is not yet clear what sparked the fire.
