Sam Champion emcees New York Edge Gala in Midtown

NEW YORK (WABC) -- It was a very special night on Wednesday for an important organization making a difference in the Tri-State area.

Eyewitness News' Sam Champion emceed the New York Edge Gala in Midtown.

He wasn't alone. Other members of the Eyewitness News team were there to show their support.

The organization's mission is to help bridge the gap between students in under-invested communities by providing a wide variety of programs and skills.
