2 dead, 1 wounded in apparent murder-suicide in Queens

RICHMOND HILL, Queens (WABC) -- Police in Queens are investigating two shooting scenes about a mile from each other in what they are calling a murder-suicide.

All of the victims were related, police said.

The horror unfolded at a home on 111th Street near 95th Avenue in Richmond Hill around 10:30 Saturday night.

When investigators arrived, they found a 27-year-old Vipanpal Multani with multiple gunshot wounds to his body. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.

A 52-year-old woman was rushed to the hospital in stable condition with a gunshot wound in the torso.



Less than a mile away at 109th Avenue and 96th Street, police found the body of a 33-year-old Karamjit Multani with a gunshot wound to his head.



Detectives found a firearm next to his body.

The reason behind the gun violence remains unclear at this hour but the investigation is ongoing.
